Safety & Security at IMEX Money Expo
Welcome to Downtown Nashville, one of the safest downtowns in America…
Downtown Nashville is very safe, especially considering the fact that the entire downtown is patrolled by the Metro Police Force, one that takes crime seriously and enforces the laws.
The State Police have a big presence due to Nashville’s position as the State capitol, located just a few blocks away. When you include serious security at nearly every one of the over 70 private celebrity establishments on Broadway Street, the presence of law enforcement is substantial. You will feel safe, regardless of the time of night you are about.
Many of Nashville’s finest private security are mostly retired or former Tennessee law enforcement officers, and former military personnel from nearby Fort Campbell, home to the 101st Airborne, 5th Special Forces Group and 160th Aviation Group (Night Stalkers).
The Music City Center where IMEX will be held, has their own 24/7 Security and multiple cameras covering the entire facility that is constantly monitored. The MCC is a government building with greater security than most.
IMEX has serious, detailed written security plans and threat assessments that address the many contingencies that could possibly occur. To prevent and deter unacceptable criminal activity, IMEX will be utilizing Uniform, Plain Clothes, Undercover and Canine resources. We highly encourage strict compliance with our security personnel’s directives by our exhibitors and attending public.
Our goal is to provide the safest and most secure event possible. We welcome our dealers and collectors to a new level of security.
