Coin collectors, get ready for a new tradition at the International Money Exposition (IMEX) — the annual IMMY Award, created to celebrate the hobby’s most influential and inspiring public figures! The inaugural honors go to two legendary names: actor Buddy Ebsen (2023), whose remarkable U.S. coin collection set records and still inspires collectors today, and actor-comedian Jack Black (2025), whose enthusiasm and “rare & spicy” coins have sparked fresh excitement and brought numismatics into the spotlight for a new generation. The IMMY — short for Influence in Money & Memorabilia – Yearly — is our way of recognizing passion, visibility, and advocacy for the hobby we all love. Both awards will be presented in style at IMEX 2025, September 3–6 at Nashville’s Music City Center, in a can’t-miss celebration featuring special guests, incredible exhibits, and stories that will have every collector talking.

This new venue and currency and Coin Show for numismatic collectors is the most beautiful, modern center in the U.S. for a coin convention and money show. Only two blocks to Broadway where over 70 adult beverage establishments can be found.

Located in Nashville, within 650 miles of half the U.S. population, the IMEX Coin Show offers an easily accessible destination for numismatists and coin dealers from Tennessee and across the country.
